Taking inspiration from Mattise’s paper cut outs, this collection takes it’s cues from outlines of little puddles of botanical dyes found dripping from skeins of yarns laid out to dry under the courtyard sun. Lush green forms are cut out in squiggly blobs and checkerboards. The four sides of the high pile is a nod to Tibetan Wangden rugs.
Studio Tenjung's arrangement of bold colors and textures are brought alive with natural dyes from Indian Indigo, Himalayan Madder, Rhubarbs and Walnuts.
