This is a more decadent version of the traditional Tiger Rug design. The combination of pile with a flat sumak weave in the background creates a relief effect in wool. The rug is finished with an embellishment of thick wool fringes on all four sides.
Material: 100% Tibetan Highland Wool
Dyes: Low- impact Azo- free Dyes
Techniques: Tiger motif woven in Tibetan loop-and-cut pile and background in Flat Sumak weave
Fringes: Add-on/ Hand- sewn to the rug
